Shaped by time.
Stranded creatures. Flotsam and jetsam in pictures.
It all started quite simply, actually.
I collected things that the sea washed up on the beach: pieces of wood, stones, shells, and other found objects shaped by wind, water, and time. I was fascinated by the shapes, figures, and stories hidden within them.
At some point, I began arranging these found objects into pictures. Small scenes and pictorial worlds emerged from individual pieces – not according to plan, but out of curiosity and the joy of discovery.
Over time, I've realized that these images don't just touch me. Many people stop in front of them, discover their own stories within them, or simply feel the peace emanating from them.
Today I hope that my work will find places where people can arrive, breathe deeply and pause for a moment – in hotels, rehabilitation facilities, clinics, practices or in their own homes.
My paintings are not meant to be loud. They bring a piece of nature into the room, create atmosphere, and remind us that beauty is often found where you least expect it.
Because sometimes something found can become something that touches people.
